SEND Sunday Activity Club

  • A mix of structured and non-structured activities using the sensory room, activity space, and soft play area. 
  • Immersive and interactive MSE room designed to stimulate various senses and provide a calming space for children to relax and engage.

The Facilities

Soft Play Trampoline: Provides a fun and safe way for children to burn off energy and develop balance.
Stepping Stones (Set of 8): Encourage coordination and motor planning skills.
Geometric Jungle – Soft Play Structure: Offers multiple textures and shapes to explore, promoting sensory integration.
Custom Rounded Cushioned Seats for Pillars and Back Wall: Provide comfortable seating and support for social interaction and relaxation.
Bespoke Upright Pillar Padding: Ensures safety around structural elements.
We have also created an immersive and interactive MSE room designed to stimulate various senses and provide a calming space for children to relax and engage.

Parent Information

This club is intended to give parents/carers respite.

  • Parents can choose to stay in the reception area with refreshments if they prefer to be nearby.
  • This area is out of sight of the children but close enough for reassurance.
  • Breakout/quiet space available throughout

FAQs

A: The club is designed primarily for primary and lower secondary-aged children. Children must be aged between 6-12. If you’re unsure whether the club is suitable for your child, please contact us to chat through their needs.sessions, each session lasting between 2.5-3 hours.

A: No — our sessions are open to children who are neurodiverse or have additional needs, with or without a formal diagnosis. We do ask you though to give us as much information about your child as possible, to support us to support them.

A: We understand every child is different. We’ll offer a pre-assessment and work closely with families to understand how best to support their child. Parents are also welcome to stay nearby while their child builds confidence.

A: This depends on the individual child’s needs. Our staff provide small-group support and can adapt activities to suit each child. We can also discuss any additional support required during the pre-assessment, please do get in touch if this would be required.

A: At this stage, places are limited to 8–10 per week for children with SEND. Siblings may be able to attend, depending on availability.

A: Comfortable clothing, any health/medication items they may need (must be discussed with staff before booking if medication is bought on site, with a healthcare plan completed), and a packed lunch. Snacks and drinks are provided.

A:  There is parking available nearby on the rd (short stay) as well as a few local car parks within walking distance, clear directions will be sent to families ahead of their first session.

A: Please contact us as soon as possible. We can discuss options, but spaces are limited, so advance notice is really appreciated.
