Our outdoor learning experiences take place in inspiring settings like the Evesham Velo Park and Evesham United Football Club, where children can develop essential life skills through physical activity and teamwork.

We believe that by fostering a sense of adventure and encouraging exploration, we can empower children to discover their strengths and reach their full potential. And this is proven in the feedback from the school leaders, parents/carers and children themselves.

FAQs

Spark 2 Move is a physical activity and movement programme designed to help children develop confidence, coordination, and a love for being active. The programme reaches children in a variety of ways — through school-based sessions, SEND interventions, after-school clubs, and community sessions (Active Movers).sessions, each session lasting between 2.5-3 hours.

Spark 2 Move is for all children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The programme is fully inclusive, offering different formats to meet individual needs and school settings.

Spark 2 Move includes four main elements:

SEND Interventions – tailored small-group sessions supporting physical, social, and emotional development.
Curriculum Sessions (S2M PE) – delivered within the school day, linking to PE and national curriculum outcomes.
School Clubs – fun, active after-school or lunchtime clubs encouraging regular participation and teamwork.
Active Movers – community-based inclusive dance and multi-sport sessions open to all children.

Spark 2 Move aims to:

Inspire a love for movement and physical activity.
Build confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.
Support inclusion and participation for all abilities.
Strengthen physical literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being.
Encourage long-term engagement in active lifestyles.

All sessions are delivered by qualified PAL Fitness Education coaches, who are DBS-checked, insured, and experienced in inclusive education, adapted physical activity, and child development.

Sessions are delivered:

In schools (as part of PE, interventions, or clubs)
In community settings (as Active Movers clubs)
In partnership with local organisations and councils who support inclusive sport and physical activity.

Schools can partner with PAL Fitness Education to bring Spark 2 Move into their setting. Programmes can be tailored to curriculum needs, specific year groups, or targeted interventions for SEND or inactive pupils.
📧 Contact: info@pal-fitness-education.org.uk for partnership information.

Parents can encourage their children to join community sessions (Active Movers) or speak to their child’s school to see if Spark 2 Move is being delivered. Updates about sessions and opportunities are shared on our website and social media channels.📧 Contact: info@pal-fitness-education.org.uk for partnership information.

We monitor impact through:

Attendance and engagement levels
Teacher and parent feedback
Improvements in confidence, coordination, and social interaction
Case studies and visual materials showing progress

We also use recognised evaluation tools, such as the Social Value Engine, to evidence wider community benefit.

Spark 2 Move is one of PAL’s key programmes — focused on helping children become active for life. It sits alongside other PAL initiatives that promote health, confidence, and community connection through movement and inclusion.
