The Big Bike Revival helps adults get on their bikes. Since it began, 10 years ago, more than half a million people have joined FREE events, workshops, and training sessions to fix their bikes, learn new skills, and build confidence
What is The Big Bike Revival?
The Big Bike Revival helps adults start cycling or ride again. We run FREE events, workshops, and training sessions. Events offer opportunities to get your cycle fixed, learn new skills or take part in a local led ride. Local grassroots organisations run these events across England, making cycling available to all.
Why should I take part?
The Big Bike Revival events are designed for adults who don’t cycle or haven’t cycled in a while. They help people overcome common barriers to cycling and gain confidence on a bike. We can help you:
- Fix your bike: Free checks and basic repairs on your cycle.
- Learn new skills: Training on how to maintain your bike and cycle with confidence.
- Save money: Cycling is a cheap way to travel.
- Get healthier: Cycling is great for your body and mind.
- Connect with your community: Discover where to cycle and make friends along the way.
How do I take part?
Please note; PAL have a few bikes, but it’s not guaranteed we will have enough, so where possible please bring your own bike. Thank you.
